 Hello hello!

Wow this week has been so weird. 

I have awful gut/GI problems that I would do anything to get rid of, and nothing has worked so far. I've been hating graphic design. I am behind on so many things! School-wise and personal, I have to get hired through a long process by the state just so I can work for my grandma and clean for her, and it's so confusing!! 

I've been in a weird spot, it's hard to find people to hang out with here, part of it must be my social anxiety, but also that it's just too many people here. I tried to join a few clubs but things just didn't work out for me. It's been hard to hang out with the one friend I do have here and I don't know how to feel about that.
I've always been super bad at confronting people that I know. If it's a total random stranger, no problem! 

I also thought my friends birthday was the fourteenth of next month when it was in fact yesterday. I didn't see until I went onto snapchat and saw the little birthday cake. I feel like literal shit for that. 

Anyways, I'm skipping my classes today and going to Powells to just sit around and maybe to homework. I'm finally going to hang out with my friend though, he's going to come with me for this!

Hello hello! 

Today is an interesting day for me.

I just broke up with my boyfriend of a few years, but I feel weird about it because I learned that this whole time he wasn't thinking we would end up long distance and never thought about it as a real reality. 

Past that, I'm making another round of chicken soup, I am watching the Hunger Games for the first time, my friends and I are going to go to a Rave themed party? We are stopping by the dispo and grabbing wine before we go because wine drunk is our new favorite.

I haven't interacted with many people from that school all year and am not prepared to see some of them. But hopefully my social skills (like usual) will save me (or ruin me... I've spat in front people before. VERY JUSTIFIED SPITTING to evil people.)

Hopefully I find a cute outfit that sorta fits the theme? I can't think of any clothes I own that would match that description. 

Missing Home

 This photo I found on Pinterest made me miss my best friend at home. She's gonna visit for halloween though!! I'm so so excited. 

We're going to be doing princess and the pea as well flower and garden gnome! 

She's literally my saving grace from the people here, whenever I'm on the phone with her I get so annoyed I can't just get into my car and drive a few minutes over and just hang out with her all day. 

Her boyfriend is coming too!! They are the cutest and he's never a bad time, so I know Halloween with the both of them will be fun. 

Shows I Will NEVER Watch!

Because of Their Main Characters

    I watch so many shows, I have my usuals and I don't venture out. I find it specifically hard within these past few years. To me, first impressions are so important. They transcend just person-to-person interactions. If the opening intro song for a show isn't hitting it for me, the show probably isn't. For example, the New Girl intro song. 

I hated that little jingle for the LONGEST time 'HEYY GIRLL.... watchya doin!!' 

    I would roll my eyes when I heard it, but then I got caught. You know when your friend has a show on in the background, and she asks if she should turn it off, and you say no it's fine you're able to ignore it... but then you end up listening to the words they're saying and get so incredibly drawn in and distracted? That happened with New Girl, and I began watching it! Safe to say I love that show now. Not nearly as much as a few other much superior shows, but I'll turn it on whenever I'm a little bored of the ones I just have on repeat all the time. 

We all know, being online anywhere means you'll likely see those 1-3 minute clips of random shows that those seemingly, bot accounts post out of order all the time. From exposure to those clips and multiple opinions and thoughts from people close to me, I can firmly say there's a good handful of shows I will actually not ever watch. I will never get drawn in like I did with New Girl.

Desperate Housewives- 

2004, 8 Seasons

    Desperate Housewives... this show seems super intricate and very entertaining for sure.  However, anytime I see a clip from this show, I start to like it, but then (USUALLY) Eva's character says something, or one of the husbands does something that just makes me so annoyed that I can't see myself getting through the whole show. While I understand they're not supposed to be perfect people and they have hardships, I JUST am not interested in the lives of wealthy people enough to care about the problems they face. 



Friends-

1994, 10 Seasons

Ok, Friends is a hard no for me. 
I think this kind of 90's sitcom structure is fun and a good time to watch, but not with these annoying ass losers oh my god. I think to me it's mostly the men characters and everything they do to the others (from what I've seen) But I also can't handle the way Jennifer Aniston and the other one with dark hair talk throughout the show. I understand that that's literally how they talk and that's kind of their 'thing,' but it annoys me. 
I'd much rather watch Girlfriends or The Nanny if I wanted to watch a sitcom type of show from the 90/2000s. 

*I know Phoebe isn't in this, but whatever* 

Ginny & Georgia 

2021, 3 Seasons

 You'll never catch me saying a good word about this show. I don't enjoy Ginny and I don't enjoy Georgia. Firstly I don't like that she hates her mom for killing an abusive man? I'm sure there's more to that I don't have the context for, but if my mom did that I'd protect her with my life.. hello?? And I don't like that she does string her kids too much into it. So I guess I do understand Ginny being mad about that, but still at the end of the day... he was abusive so what? I don't like the way Ginny treats her friend Max either, that shit was so infuriating oh my god. I watched about half of season 2 and that was it for this show. 

Gilmore Girls 

2000, 7 Seasons

 No one will ever be able to convince me to watch this show. Both of these women are fucking crazy and treat people like shit and I cannot understand how people eat them up and enjoy. Rory is disrespectful and entitled and just stupid. I've seen way too many clips where I have a physical reaction to her and the way she goes through life. Her mom is a mess too and I wish she would hit her daughter with a shoe over the head. Again, I don't like looking into the lives of these rich annoying white people that don't give a fuck about other people, but these two take the fucking cake for me. If you want to try and convince me to watch even one episode I will send you my Venmo cause nothing other than cash can force me to watch this dumb ass show. 

Sex and the City

1998, 6 Seasons

 Man, SATC is a touchy topic for me. I would love to watch this show, I love the feel and the music and the overall structure of this show... but for the love of GOD... please remove Carrie from the whole damn show. I don't have any interest in her storyline. I don't have any interest in the way she treats the other three and I have zero interest in her and Big. She annoys me and squeals too much. The amount of scenes I've seen of her fucking people over and her just not understanding the consequences. She falls right in next to Rory Gilmore in my mind. They both have that dumbed-down airy voice and start flexing their neck and jaw muscles when they get a little flustered after they've done something stupid. I LOVE the others, I would watch the show if it was simply about them.
